<Residency Formats for 2026>

1. Curated Residency

Period: October 16 – December 15, 2026 (minimum1 month stay)
Number of Artists: Up to 2-4
Selection: Competitive selection

The Curated Residency is a selective program for artists interested in deeper engagement with the local community and cultural context.

Artists in this program are encouraged to:

• Take part in artist talks or public discussions

• Present a small exhibition or open studio

• Interact with local residents, artists, and cultural practitioners

This format emphasizes exchange, dialogue, and shared reflection, while allowing flexibility in how artists participate.

2. Open / Quiet Residency

Period: Spring (May-June) and Fall (October 16 - December 15) 2026 (minimum 1 month stay)
Selection: Open application
Residency Fee: Varies by location

The Open / Quiet Residency is intended for artists who prefer a more independent stay.

• Public talks or exhibitions are optional

• No structured program is required

• Artists manage their own time and practice

This format prioritizes quiet presence, autonomy, and immersion in everyday rural life.

2026年 運営参加メンバー募集（日本国内向け）

​

2026年に北広島町で実施予定の少人数・パイロット型レジデンスにおいて、
海外アーティストの滞在をきっかけに、現場運営や環境づくりに関わってみたい日本人の方を募集します。

本募集は、単なるサポートやボランティアではなく、今後のプログラムのあり方を一緒に考え、試すための参加枠です。どの程度関与するかは自由です。

このポジションについて

• 海外アーティストの滞在期間中、生活や制作環境が円滑に進むよう、必要に応じて現場での調整やコミュニケーションに関わっていただきます。

• 明確な業務マニュアルや役割分担はありません。

• ​参加や支援の頻度は自分で選択できます。

• 主催者と対話しながら、運営のあり方そのものを一緒に考える立場です。

※通訳や常時対応が主な役割ではありません。

滞在・条件について

• 滞在期間：約1か月程度（2026年秋予定）

• 北広島町内にて、滞在場所を無償で提供予定

• 試行段階のため、給与はありません

• 交通費・食費・生活費は自己負担となります

※あくまで試行的な枠であり、条件は状況により調整される可能性があります。

• アーティスト・イン・レジデンスの運営に関心がある方

• 前に出るより、場を支えることにやりがいを感じる方

• 田舎の生活環境や不便さを受け入れられる方

• 将来的に、レジデンス運営や地域文化活動に関わる可能性を考えている方

※手厚い指導や明確な成果を求める方には向いていません。

この募集は、完成されたプログラムに参加してもらうためのものではありません。まだ試しながら進めている段階のレジデンスに、関心と余白を持って関わってくださる方との出会いを期待しています。条件や役割については、やり取りの中で丁寧にすり合わせていければと思います。
